Orbital had listened with intent concentration to Alex speak. Now, he shook his head slightly. Alex, I can honestly say I haven’t the slightest idea why you’re on the Council. And I can also honestly say I don’t care. You’re here. I like you already, and think you’ll fit in quite nicely. I’m supposing you’re meant to represent the non-Cybertronian citizens. The Humans and Nebulans and so forth. Whatever plans the Senate may have for your addition, we’ll get past them. You’ll realize very quickly that the Council is much like an extended family.

Alex nodded his head. Thank you. That really means a lot, Orbital. But...now, tell me. If what Denarius told me about the Council is off-key, what is the Council?

Orbital grinned. This is the fun part. What is the Council? I’ll tell you. Prepare to be amazed, Alex.
