(The following message was sent to Ursus Major and Slotknife of the Bearpride via the ACVault PM system.) **WITH SOME EDITS SINCE THIS IS BEING POSTED PUBLICLY**
"At the [Bearpride allegiance] meeting, the group mentioned that we should get the V Ammy runs back up, perhaps once monthly. Did we decide on which weekend to go? And do you think that it would be the same weekend each month?
'I've been reading about some of the V Ammy runs that other groups have led, particularly here on the Vault and on [another allegiance] board, and I still believe 100% that the group that we have is THE BEST on Thistledown. Unfortunately, some of these other groups always seem to have some kind of problem that turns their quests sour, sometimes even ending allegiances between patron and vassal. I am so glad that our runs are so successful - even if there are deaths, I think it's the teamwork that we've achieved that is the key to our success, and that goes for both the upper and the lower groups, before and after the split.
'But, even though they had problems, I still see posts that indicate to me that these other groups are willing to learn new things to make their next trips go better. This tells me that their minds are in the right place, and that they want to learn the dungeon, to streamline their next quest.
'This gave me an idea.
'Our group KNOWS this quest in and out, from the portal drop-off to the vestibule entrance, to the buff points and the spawn, etc. What if, say, for one or two runs, we offered/led a Chakron Remedial run? ...actually taught other groups HOW to run this quest? The focus would not actually be on obtaining the amulets (although, that is not to say that we would not), but on learning/teaching every nook and cranny of the Chakron Flux to everyone? This would involve a lot of running back and forth throughout the dungeon, to explain each portion in between spawns, explain strategies and buff points, etc., sure, but we could do it, Slots. Or even to put out a group-written guide on how to run this quest successfully, although not necessarily a spoiler.
'I don't know, it's just something that came to mind. Let me know what you think, or whether my brain is full of mashed flies because it would be something a little different.
'On another note, Sigh begins work on her journey to level 25 this week, with her eyes set on the following quests:
*Obsidian dagger/Shadow Heaume/barbed fletching tool
*Quiddity orb
*Simucralum helm/shield
'I am very familiar with quests 2 & 3 and would feel comfortable leading questgroups of 4 or 5, we just need to get our lowbies up to at least 25 to go.
'Speaking of the Simulacram (or however it's spelled), Ilu will be making another run for the helm/shield next Monday night with Bo Dacious (Tom's archer) since her timer is up, and anyone in the group who is 25-40 is more than welcome to come. It's a fun quest and, if you've read the information on these items, they're REALLY GREAT for melees to own.
'Khalani is also level 20, so, when she is 25, I will be able to do any number of these lowbie quests in a week using Ilu, Sigh, or her, depending on the necessity.
'Regarding the alliance with Guild Goldensword, I know for a fact that GG will be open to it. Doc is having a little burnout right now - along with computer/access trouble - so he is AFK for a while, but any talks that need to take place can on our guild message board at the following link:
http://www.voy.com/42213/
'And Guild Goldensword homepage (which I maintain and update on a daily basis or as needed):
http://home.talkcity.com/ImaginaryPl/ilukhalani/index.html
'Feel free to bring any requests to that message board. I have talked to Doc and he is very receptive, but, because of the problems he's been having with his connections, he's reluctant to sign in on Thistledown and is even taking a break from Morningthaw at the time.
'I hope that things are going well for you and that you had a great week!
'So, let me know if any or all of these ideas are good/bad... whatever... I'm open to anything. I just wanted to share my brainstorms with ya If you need to reach me, you can do so here, via email at larq_@hotmail.com, at the message board listed above, or ingame on Thistledown this week.
'Thank you!

~~PURPOSE~~
**To generate interest in our Thistledown activities so that we can plan outings/hunting groups/etc. with our friends there
**To interact with/make new friends ingame
**To start our Thistledown Renaissance.
~~PLEASE NOTE~~
*This is not to suggest leaving Morningthaw! Rather, this is to give us options on both servers :) Also, now that our characters on Morningthaw are moving up in the world, we may want to include some of these quests in our planned activities.
~~SPECIAL NOTE TO SIX ANGRY MOBSTERS~~
We want to include you in these activities, too, if you are interested and have characters and friends who can go!
