Be available, be helpful when you can, pass along your experience and knowledge about game issues. That's what it takes, really. In fact most of my followers only contact me to chat, and not much else. I like that sort of relaxed atmosphere. There's a big difference betwen now and then for me, though. I never really *wanted* Duncan to be a monarch. he just wound up being one when we broke away from Vidorian. Atually, Yurika probably served the role of monarch more than I did back then. I was happy to hang with people but nobody really approached me much. At the time, I also had made a different character both for variety and because I wanted to escape being Duncan for a while.. perhaps that made me alienated, I am not sure. I've heard since then that when I made Six, I disappointed a lot of people by not being in the same clan. I never really thought of it like that.. I don't know. What I do know is that I did it by choice this time and I am doing my best to be all the things I mentioned at the beginning of this post. Most of the time, I succeed, I like to think.
