...what are the advantages, if any, of having an atlan weapon anymore?
As a axe/bow weilder, I will be carrying ravenous axe, composite bow, hopefully a quiddity axe. My good friend Brute Squad, Sr ;) says that the Quintessence Sickle is awesome, so I will eventually get one of them. If I intend to go the cestus/nekode/katar route, I'll probably go ravenous, too, until higher levels when I'll want more kick than that.
But, the atlan weapons, even though they do have higher base damages, are slow, have debuffs if activated and require item buffs if not activated. And, if more than one is carried, they're heavy; if one is carried, the neverending need for atlan stone runs is created.
So, is there an advantage... I mean, other than having these 'quest items' is there really an advantage anymore?
Any comments would be very helpful; I'm currently planning my future weapons array :)
