Black coal steed surveys th'wasted lands below him. Of course, the sun shone brightly, the pastures were of neverending emeralds and the flowers sweet and giving. But there were no other like him, hardly any. Th'herd was not fit of that title, the small bound of equid he saw below him on the rocky outcrop he stood proud and tall upon. Audits swivelling he gave a short snort that blasted sticky, warm into the cool breeze and trotted unconcernedly down towards them.
