The H-Rated will look better when you go to sell it. The H-Rated rubber is harder and will not melt off very easy. Since I live in FL, I bought H rated tires because the 17's were put on around July. (very, very warm on those roads). I plan on changing to V's around december if some more cash comes in. The V rated rubber is softer and is suseptable to tread wear quicker (Although the speed limit for H's is 130, and the V's is 149, not a huge diffrence to me, though. personally i wouldnt push my D any faster than 110, but It can go faster). A friend of mine is a cop, and goodyear gives him tires for his cruiser for free, and they give the nicest higest rated stuff (speed rated at like 166+ or something) and they melted in less than 10K. I had a set of Yokohama 15's on my car when I first got it, (they were V's) and because of the heat they never lived up to there tread life warranty (I got some money back, though.) As far as handling is concerned I havent seen a diffrence, then again, I am 17...so well...I havent driven all that many cars in my life, my basis for comparison is pretty limited.
