hi james all diamantes 92 thru 96 have this problem its 9 out of 10 times the vale stem seals i just had mine replaced { 94 D} about 15,000 miles when i did it i replaced the timing belt all the other belts done a tune up i had my mechinic do everthing at one time so i wouldnt have anymore issues if you can find a good place that can do this go for it because the dealer is about 2000.00 to do this process the parts are a little high but you can get them at the dealer
I found this excellent web page http://www.allpar.com/eek/ValveSeals.html that discusses the procedure for a Chrysler minivan (same V6 D engine) this should square you away anythig else please let me know randy heard
