Yes, I do get a response if the fan control is placed on "auto", but it is not a correct response.

If I have the A/C set to auto, the compressor is engaged, but the fan is not running in the first minute or two of driving. If it is a really hot day, and I turn the temperature control down into the blue, the fan will kick in full blast! Otherwise it stays off.

I haven't had a chance to get under the glove box yet. Maybe tonight. I'll let you guys know how it turns out.
