The problem that causes this to happen is a loose connector coming from the a/c controls. If you take out the panel for the radio and get behind it you will find a plug connector that looks like it plugs into the firewall you can try to wiggle the wire back and forth to make sure it is making a good connection this may solve the problem. I also had the same problem and when I pushed on the wire the air worked properly. Try it, it will save you a lot of money.
