They're long-legged, flexible, muscular, and furred quadrupeds. Their paws have long, two-jointed toes, four on each paw. The inside toe of the front paws is somewhat opposable, to help with gripping things, and they have retractable claws. Their fur, markings, and size depends on where they live (see long descrip for specifics). They have a long, prehensile, bladed tail that can have up to five blades, or even none at all. They have deep chests and are excellent runners. Their heads are long-muzzled, like a wolf's, but heavy and broad, like a big cat's. Males have no mane, better eyesight, and small, stubby antlers, and females have long manes and better hearing. They're awesome fighters.
