- *making good on his word he leaves, slaming the door and taking about 20 steps down the hall, now that he was away from her the magnitude of his words hit him like a splash of cold water. God he'd been so callous and cruel it was beyond his usual. That wasn't him talking back there, he'd reverted to the little kid alone on the streets fending for himself. His hand, shaking, reaches into his pocket pulling out the ring, examining it. He'd stolen it right off her hand.....what an ass he was. - *his arms lift her off the floor, a roughly calloused hand on the back of her head, murmuring soft apologies in her ear.....he could never make up for the harsh words the rough treatment with words though, it would take time. He felt like he just snapped, a slim twig caught in a gale, the stress of time finally wearing through the thin structure, causing it to break. Thus was his sanity, over time it was bound to crack.
