Good to see you again, my dear Sir Madcat. Long time no hostage negotiations. :)

1) Sounds like a fairly decent computer you got there. Building a PC is great fun! Unwrapping all the components and peripherals cards, screwing things in, playing with plugs and slots. Ahh, that gorgeous smell of unspoilt, un-overclocked metal! Reminds me of the good old days of about a month ago. So if you don't mind me asking, is your CPU the Hyper-Threading Northwood edition, or just the Northwood? And what kind of Graphics card did you get? (I'm so nosey!)

About yout boot problems, I once had the same problems, and they actually turned out to be somewhat nasty, because it led to constant spontaneous shutting-down and refusing to turn back on. Luckily, I found out that my power supply was too small for all the components to power properly, so I shelled out for a 400w supply instead of the measly 320w that came with the case. Also, it may be ATA problems, as I had under XP with my current system, (Now running 98 again) I found that if the ATA133, or similar, drivers weren't installed absolutely perfectly, it paused my startup for about 15 seconds. So there are a few areas to check up on. Good luck!

2) Am I interested in playtesting? Is the Queen's left breast as hideously eye-scarring as her right breast? I'm running Windows 98 SE on an Athlon XP 2200+ with a GeForce4 Ti4600, is your game gonna work properly on my PC? (I'm not familiar with RM2K's compatibilities.) Also, how big is it? Is it able ot be posted somewhere on the Net, or would it have to be mailed on CD to New Zealand? o_O

3) "Dude, I just read MegaTokyo, and now I think it's cool to use phrases like "d00d", "roX0rs" and "g4y". You should go learn to talk like this too, unless your a g4y d00d who doesn't roX0r!! I bet you are! fa9907!!"

People like this make me seriously reconsider my firm views on Capital Punishment.

4) Actually, I don't drink beer. I don't like the taste. Having said that, my drink of choice is Tequilla. Weird. I'll sit down with Dad on a hot day after being active all steamy afternoon, and have a cold can of Canterbury Draught, though, just because it's cold and wet. But usually, I'll avoid the beer and just go for a few shots of José Cuervo Tequilla.

5) That's a tough one. I have many favourites in different categories, and I couldn't really pick an overall winner. My favourites, I guess, would be... Lime Fanta, Fresh Up Apple and Orange, and Ice Chocolates. Yummmmmmie!

6) Actually, if you ask me, they need to wait for a decent amount of time to let things get settled down again. It seems like XP has only been out for a short time, and even though it's the default OS on any retail PC, they need to give it a reasonable length of time to reign at the top. If they keep bringing out new OS's, consumers will keep putting off buying them because "there'll be the new one coming out soon." As for Longhorn itself, I don't actually know that much about it, but if they can improve on XP like XP did on 98, they'll have a winner. Any ideas on what it's official title is?

7) Good idea, stop while you're ahead.

;)
