My apologies, Tashi.....I didn't see your question about music. Yes, there most certainly will be music, as well as plenty of sound effects. None of the music is standard (aka RTP) RM2K music, fortunately, since none of the RTP music is suitable and little of it is any good anyway. The soundtrack comes from a wide variety of sources including the works of Peter Illych Tchaikovsky, Maurice Ravel, Wolfgang Ammadeus Mozart, Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy IX, Xenogears, and variety of lesser known games. There will also be many celtic tracks, since SOTS draws heavily from celtic mytholgy and folklore.

Actually, I consider the music to be so important that I've allowed it to take up more filespace than I would really like. Indeed, over half the size of SOTS thus far comes soley from the (ever-increasing) soundtrack. This is due to the unfortunate fact that it's hard (and in some cases, impossible) to find the necessary MIDI's, much less those of the right quality. Because of this, I've been forced to include a handful of WAVE's, although I've edited them to minimize their size as much as I could without significantly harming the quality.

Which brings me to something very important. If anyone at all knows where on the web I can find music from Breath of Fire IV, other than Unwavering Courage, please let me know. MIDI's are okay, as are any format that can be converted into a WAVE. I really, really need to find the following pieces of music: Bastard Sword (eastern continent boss music), Brave Heart (tower theme), and the songs from the final battles with Fou-lu.

I've already checked the Video Game Music Archive and Gaming Force Audio, and I can't spare the money to pay the overinflated cost of importing the soundtrack CD from Japan, so if anybody can help me, I'll be in your debt.
