As promised, here it is. Let me know what you think. Suggestions are always welcome.

After the end of a terrible war, a hero returns over the ocean to his homeland, in hopes of settling down and living a peaceful life. However, his plans go awry when he uncovers a sinister plot against his King. Gathering bold companions, he sets out to expose these evil plans, slay the villains, save the Crown, and restore peace to the kingdom. A rather predictable, even overdone plot for an RPG, is it not? But is it really that simple?

All too often, what we think is the truth is not the whole truth, or even the truth at all. And events sometimes have a way of going completely different directions than we imagine they will.

High Inquisitor Morgan Constantine comes home to the land of Taliesin after serving overseas in the Great War against the Vilyamar Republic. Weary of the danger and constant traveling that comes with his profession, he wants nothing more than to hang up his sword and start a new life as a Royal Judge, an appointment that has been guaranteed him as a reward for years of loyal service to the Crown. But a chance encounter with fellow Inquisitor Liam Thornwall on the road to his family's home convinces him to embark upon one last adventure before retiring from his order. For Liam has uncovered a conspiracy to foster a peasant rebellion and bring down High King Aidin, a conspiracy with members in the highest echelons of society, even in the Royal Order of Inquisitors itself. Morgan joins forces with the younger Inquisitor and sets out to foil their plans, but soon comes to realize that things are nowhere near as black-and-white as he first thought.

Playable Characters:

Morgan Constantine
Profession: High Inquisitor
Age: 35 Height: 6'1" Build: Athletic Hair: Black Eyes: Grey
Morgan is a strong-willed, pragmatic, and rather cynical man who has little use for any sort of ideology, unless of course he can somehow utilize it to his advantage. His primary motivation as an Inquisitor is his desire for order rather than to serve the Crown or out of belief in Taliesin's system of government. Despite all this, however, he has a strong sense of right and wrong (he refers to it as an unfortunate character flaw) that often leads him to get involved in things most people wouldn't have to courage to. As the son of Lucien Constantine, he is the heir of his House, but his only real desire is to take up a peaceful life as a Royal Judge. He also has something of a drinking problem. Morgan wields the Dragon Sword, a mysterious katana he brought back from the New World, but the Dragon Sword has a mind of it's own, and plans for it's wielder that may not be to his liking.

Liam Thornwall
Profession: Inquisitor
Age: 20 Height: 5'11" Build: Average Hair: Brown Eyes: Blue
Liam is the son of a middle class merchant family in dukedom of Davalon, who has been an Inquisitor for less than a year. Unlike Morgan, he is fairly idealistic, but he has a sharp mind and is nowhere near as naïve as people often think he is. He is fiercely loyal to the Crown, although he has a dislike of other nobility which he usually keeps to himself. Liam's life becomes unexpected and irrevocably altered when his first important assignment as an Inquisitor leads him to an accidental and shocking discovery. His primary weapon is the crossbow.

Duchess Gwenyth (Gwen) Haviland
Profession: Sorceress
Age: 21 Height: 5'6" Build: Slender Hair: Red Eyes: Green
Gwen became the Duchess of Finvarra and ruler of House Haviland at the age of only 17, when her mother was assassinated by a traitor who sold out to the Vilyamar republic during the Great War. In spite of her privileged upbringing she is neither not innocent and naïve. In fact, she is known for wearing clothing quite inappropriate for a noblewoman and is often outrageously flirtatious. She has acquired a very promiscuous reputation, which although mostly undeserved, is something she not only enjoys but encourages. She is also a trained sorceress, which combined with her aforementioned personality trait makes her generally disliked among the other nobility. The people of Finvarra, on the other hand, adore her. Her weapon of choice is the throwing knife.

Niall Warwick
Profession: Mercenary
Age: 29 Height: 6' Build: Average Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown
The captain of a small mercenary unit known as the Vermilion Blades, he was formerly a commander in the Knights of the Red Branch, but was stripped of his rank and cast out after numerous occasions on which he failed to obey the orders of his superiors. He is a loyal companion-in-arms, but has a well-deserved reputation for doing whatever he damn well pleases, regardless of what anyone else says. Niall's favorite weapons are spears and other kinds of pole arms.

Tobias Brock
Profession: Spy
Age: 27 Height: 5'9" Build: Thin Hair: Brown Eyes: Blue
Tobias, who despises his first name and insists on being called simply "Brock," was an orphan who grew up on the streets of Lassair, the Royal Capital of Taliesin. After being caught in the act of robbing one of the treasure rooms of the Royal Palace, he fled all the way across the continent to Finvarra, where he took up a new occupation…..as a freelance spy. He became so good at this occupation that he was hired by the previous Duchess of Finvarra (Gwen's mother) to be the spymaster of House Haviland. Brock is very loyal to Gwen and her family, and would do just about anything for them. Old habits die hard though, and he sometimes cannot refrain from stealing things that interest him. He uses a pair of daggers to protect himself.

Raymond Barsharavon
Profession: Warrior Monk
Age: 31 Height: 5'10" Build: Athletic Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown
Raymond is a warrior monk who has spent most of his life in the service of the Church. Unlike many of his fellow clergy though, he is quite worldly and open-minded. During the Great War, he traveled with groups of missionaries in the New World, protecting them from brigands and soldiers of the Vilyamar Republic. His carries a broadsword in battle.

Lucien Constantine
Profession: General
Age: 64 Height: 6' Build: Athletic Hair: Grey Eyes: Grey
Patriarch of House Constantine, he is widely considered to be Taliesin's greatest general since Loram Stormblade. He was the primary one responsible for defeating the Vilyamar Republic's navy, which led to the end of the Great War. He has two sons (both by different wives): Morgan and Tomás. Lucien's weapon of choice is his war axe. His nickname is "the Grey Hawk." Despite his age, he is still a formidable warrior.

Dark Patrick
Profession: Sage
Age: 62 Height: 5'5" Build: Stocky Hair: Black Eyes: Black
A man who lives a simple life alone, tending a small patch of land in the Gersias Valley. In spite of his homely appearance, he is known far and wide as a man of superb wisdom, and his advice is sought after by noble and commoner alike. For some reason, he prefers to continue living in poverty. He carries a walking staff, which he is not very effective with in a fight, but he has a variety of unusual spells at his dispose which make him a dangerous opponent. His name, incidentally, comes from his black hair, eyes, and large beard, and is not any reference to skin color.

More PC's to come…..
