In reply to: ark 's message, "installing cd-roms" on 21:34:59 09/01/01 Sat

I managed to install the CD-ROM drive without any trouble to speak of. I also bought a CD-RW drive for my own computer (something I had been meaning to do for quite some time), which I think I can also install, the only trick being finding where to attach the cables to.

Want to know the kicker on the deal with that CD-ROM drive? If I had payed the store to install it, it would have cost $39.99, the exact cost of the drive itself.

I managed to find out how to do the RAM upgrade, but unfortunately I'm going to need to know some things about my motherboard to know if it would work. Which is bad, because I know next to nothing about motherboards, but maybe I can gather enough to do the job.
