installing cd-roms is easy, just take the casing off of the computer, unplug the old one from whatever's attached to it, and plug the new one in. just make sure to read the instructions, you don't want to make any mistakes and have to take the trouble of fixing them later. as for ram upgrades, pretty much the same thing; there are usually slots for upgrades built into your computer(unless you have a piece of crap like mine) and again, just follow the instructions and plug it into the right slot. of course, i could be completely wrong, so anyone, please feel free to correct me.
