The 3 disc set for Chrono Cross I linked in my last post is definitely worth it. It's a great relaxing set of pieces. Some of the tunes sound familiar (since they're sort of reinterpretations of some Trigger themes) while others are totally new. I think the set is definitely worth picking up if you get the chance. My good friend Fanboy... err... Serpent Jesus (uh... whatever Rich is calling himself these days) also recommended the soundtrack to FFX to me the other day. I'll admit I'm a bit leery of anything FFX due to my past abundant hatred of FFVIII (same dev team), but I'm willing to give it a shot on Rich's opinion. (Actually, I'm almost expecting him to chime in on this one since I'm pretty sure he's been lurking around here lately ^_^)

I still haven't played Cross yet, btw. It's sitting on my shelf collecting dust at the moment. I'd like to say that I'm currently playing FF5 and my import copies of Guily Gear X and Capcom vs SNK 2 (both of the latter for the Dreamcast), but I sort of stopped after I started my current game tester gig this past Tuesday. I think it has something to do with my eyes starting to lose focus after spending 8+ hours a day in front of a screen play-testing the Xbox. Mayhaps I'll get back to them this weekend. Sigh.
