Subject: Who's your X-man?!!

Just an off-topic little question here, just to see what kind of answers I get. Having just finished watching X-men on DVD, it got me thinking, as does most movies. Who's your favourite X-person and why?

Personally, it's hard for me to say. I really like Wolverine, and he was brilliantly portrayed in the movie despite how many comic-to-movie characters are completely miscast. Specifically, I like him because he's got extremely cool mutations such as the advanced healing and the retractable claws out his knuckles. Other than that, though, I don't really like his character, and the fact that he gets on the bad side of Cyclopes too much, who I also like, grates on my nerves somewhat.

Cyclopes, as I mentioned, I like as well. He's quite valiant and trustworthy, which I admire. Plus, I am quite taken with people who's abilities are also hinderances, in Scott's case, he can never open his eyes without wearing special eyegear, unless he wants a long line of char-broiled objects in his way. His ability is also pretty cool. I mean, come on, who hasn't wanted the ability to fire beams out of their eyes before?!

But I think the X-person I like the most would have to be Rogue. Not only because her powers are cool, but because, as I mentioed, I like abilities that are hinderances as well, and Rogue's is a doozie. Imagine never being able to touch someone skin to skin without them suddenly falling unconscious or even dead! Even so, she is extremely cool. Plus, in the cartoon she has superhuman strength, which adds to her long list of cool things she can do. She can kill just by touching someone long enough, absorb any powers other mutants have, superhuman strength, plus she's got a wild hairdo, and to be completely honest, she's a bit of a fox. She's got a cool accent as well, not being a resident of any part of the USA, I notice these things far more then a lot of people would. In conclusion, she rocks.
