Subject: My bunny is peeing on my bed!

Hi Everyone,

I found a similar message on the forum from a few months ago, but I wanted to see if there were any other ideas.

I have a beautiful flemmish giant female that I got from a pound a few months ago. She is spayed and in good health. She cought onto the litter box quickly and asside from a few stray droppings, she is very clean and quickly earned free run of my bedroom.

About 4-6 weeks ago she decided to start scootching up against me and urinating on my bed in the middle of the night. I finally had to restrict her to her pen unless I could be watching here constently. She obviously didn't like this, but she soon regained her freedom at night. I still keep her in the pen during the day so that she remembers the difference between hers and mine.

I thought we solved the problem, but this morning while I was in the shower, she did it again. Luckily I wasn't there, but she's a big girl and makes a lot of urine and made quite a mess!

I'm hoping that you might have more ideas about teaching her mine vs hers. I'd like to be able to let her in the bed since that is where we cuddle a lot, but
I need her to know she is a guest. Is there something I can spray or mark with to teach her that I'm 'the dominate doe' on the bed? She does tend to go toward the top of the bed and pillows where my head and hair would most likely sent the area.

Thanks for your help!
-Jessica
