Subject: What is the best bread for a new family with out experienace??

We have 3 Children aged 7,3&21mths. We also have a golden retriver who is very loveing and sleeps with the cat and a sha pei who dosn't like the cat at all but is getting better. We live in the country on an acre but have a very cold climate in winter. Our 7 year old daughter would love another rabbit but we have had bad luck with the past 3 and are reluctant to try again as it is so heart breaking. We have learn't a lot about the care of them and fell we do all that right but wonder weather there is a bread that we should go for. We have had a lop ear and a dwarf lop ear and a dwarf somthing else all from pet shops. Do you have any suggestions. It is her birthday on the 14th of April and I was thinking about surprising her.
