Before you go and buy a bunny, please check your local pound! Often, there are bunnies there that desperately need homes. Seeing as Easter has just come and gone, there are probably a great many that have been dumped because people cannot be bothered to take care of them. As to the dog, golden retrievers are very even-tempered and there is a very good chance that they will bond, but I think it would be best to go with an adult rabbit for the simple fact that its larger size will inhibit the dog from thinking that he or she is a chew toy! Just watch them closely, and don't leave them unattended. Good luck!
