Subject: Helping save Slippers the rabbit

Slippers the rabbit is a black neutered lop rabbit whose carer is on
a low income at present due to a marital split.

He is about 2-3 years old.

Slippers has bad teeth due to genetic problems and the rabbit
teeth specialist says a couple of the back teeth have to be removed.

They need to be removed because of recurring ulcers and spurs.
Also the teeth are crooked and stopping the rabbit from eating properly
and causing his jaw not to align properly (according to his carer).

The bill to have slippers treated is $120 and the lady I am helping has not
got the money at present (she told me her daughter needs new shoes etc).

She has already spent $130 on Slippers.

Can anyone help contribute towards Slipper's vet bill?

Any contributions can be sent to the House Rabbit Society of Australia Inc.
P.O. Box 30 Riverton, WA 6148

OR you can try and contribute throught the internet
(this works if you use internet banking - visit
<a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://www.iinet.net.au/~rabbit/hrsaus.htm">http://www.iinet.net.au/~rabbit/hrsaus.htm</a>
for the details)

I will be happy to obtain a copy of the receipt/invoice and place it up
on the website once the surgery is performed.

There is also no 100% guarantee Slippers will survive surgery but the Rabbit
expert is an animal dentist who has experience with rabbits and I feel
Slipper's should be given a chance.

Kind regards,

Marguerite
