Subject: Nichols, George in Leicester City 1736

I have a George Nichols and his wife Mary living in Dunstable, Beds., Eng. They have nine children born 1737-1752. I found a Settlement Certificate for the couple George Nichols and Mary that stated they were residents of St. Martins Leicester and were moving to Dunstable. The certificate was dated 4 Dec 1736. Since no children were mentioned, I assumed they did not have children in Leicester unless they died. Is there a marriage index for the city of Leicester available that would cover the 1730's?

Karen
