Minural is a large world, which most probably could NOT have formed naturally. It has three major continents- Coranis, the smallest; Alacar, where the Inn is located; and Ventorain, the largest. Major powers in the world are the Crac'anian Empire (Ventorain), the Coranis Empire (covering most of the Coranis continent), and the Greater Iloian League (Territories on all continents). The Inn is located in the Sovereign Principality of Por Tsar, part of the League. No major conflicts are currently underway, though a League/Coranis war ended a decade ago. The Iloian Tern is the dominant currency in the world, accepted in all ports and most inland cities, though less so in villages. The Tern is divided into Copper, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Mithril coins, with a copper as the price of a drink and a Mithril as a suit of Leather armor (Identical to regular Parthos currency). Other currencys include the fading Impran, minted by a number of nations and containing coins from a span of 2000 years, valued mainly by weight, the Crac'anian Crown, worth about 2/3 the value of the Tern, and the Coranis Mark, worth about 1/5 the value of a Tern.
There are two major systems of measurment. The Crac'anian Empire uses the Crasten, 'slang' for Crac'anian Standard, which is made up of 1000 feet, the same length as our foot, but each foot only has 10 inches as opposed to 12. The alternate system, used in the League and surrounding nations, uses a Span, the length of the causeway connecting the King's castle of the ancient Empire (now know simply by "The Empire") with the land. It is equal to one kilometer, and is divided into 2 half-spans, 10 diks, and 100 cenks.

Why am I telling you this? For the currency, on your sheets, it will say "Terns," followed by the money you have. But, say, on a tourney to remote areas of the Crac'anian Empire, the villagers might not accept Terns. Having a sampling of at least Terns and Crowns availible, at least the equivalent of a few plat in each, would be very wise, as at least I will be sending frequent tourneys overseas. For the measurments, NPCs will use one or the other of the major measurement systems (though the measurment systems are the major ones on our world with different names). It is up to you to decide how much of this your character knows.
