Morning all! It is sunny and warm here today, we're supposed to get thunderstorms later. Okay that's the weather report lol!

My sincere thanks to Luvs for giving me these two books - they are both awesome in different ways. If I get up the energy I'll be writing a review on both of them and posting them on Fibrocloud later.

Both of these books are good - the fibro book is great for those of us that like medical detail and who constantly ask (like me) those questions like, "What causes this and what causes that?" For those that aren't interested in medical nitty gritty detailing - perhaps the chronic illness book might be of interest to you. It is a positive and informative book on how to cope with and live with the chronic illness in your life. From how to cope with the reactions of others to therapies, and addressing your own feelings about your condition.

Both books have: individual case profiles; and also have very good glossarys and indexes.

In the meantime - here are the two books listed below:

All About Fibromyalgia by Daniel J. Wallace, M.D. and Janice Brock Wallace. Oxford University Press, 2002. (258 pages, hardback). ISBN Number = 0-19-5147-53-7

A Delicate Balance: Living Succesfully with Chronic Illness by Susan Milstrey Wells. Insight Books, Plenum Press. (289 pages, hardback). ISBN Number = 0-306-45798-9

Outside of Dr. Devin Stanaryl's books, these are the best two publications I have read on these topics in a long time. I highly recommend them.

If your bookstore doesn't stock them you can order them online or have your bookstore order them for you. Or if your local library doesn't have them - you can request them through their interlibrary loan program.
