I noted a request for info on this - so here it is:

Fibrohugs has a Disability Forum on it run by a disability attorney, Jeffrey Rabin. His bio and contact information is posted there. The posts in his form yield losts of good info as well...

He is based in Chicago and takes clients from all over the country. He specializes in representing disabled individuals seeking disability benefits under the Social Security Act. There is no money required up front to take your case. I have spoken with him personally and I was very pleased both with him and his responsiveness. I plan on using him for my own case...

Another note: Binder and Binder, a law firm based out of New York also specializes in disability cases and takes clients on a national basis. However, they require a letter up front from your physician stating that you will be disabled for at least 1 year.
