this sounds like an excellent idea. I have belonged to several self help groups and finding speakers is only a matter of talking to folks. Were I live we have a Health group that has access to many of these resources..like speakers,pamphlets,books to borrow etc. Help on depression,womens health issue etc can be accessed threw hospitals. the main benefit from these groups though is the joint knowledge that you have access to threw each other. experience is often the best tool to use. Ideas shared are invaluable. so good luck! I hope you have a great time. But start out maybe once a month so you dont over stress yourselves. It can be frustrating work finding these resources.
