My name is Gene Lowe - former Sgt -USMC - and was stationed at 11th Marines - Motor T - DaNang about that time - 20 July '70 - I can not remember dates but we were constantly harrassed by rockets and were always being sniped. I will go through my papers and will try to find some documentation. Have you written to Marine Corps HQ? I just re-filed papers for PTSD - hearing loss - Bipolar claim and could use some help with recalling dates and places and people. I was with 5th 175 MM & 8" Guns at Dong Ha -Camp Carroll - Rockpile - Vandergrift and last 6 months at Danang. I appreciate any help or advice where I can find information. Semper Fi.......
