The bird flew overhead, gliding from tree to tree, soaring ahead, and doubling back. Occationally it would land on Ranskin's shoulder and clack its beak. During the trek, Ranskin kept silent, eyeing the trees around them warily, as if enemies lurked behind every trunk or bush. After hours of walking, Ranskin finally called a halt, beckoning Q to sit down for a rest. -- Forest of Alistra
