I never really felt safer there, but I still hid there." She had hid under that bed for another reason too. Her father had been abusive but she didn't feel like dumping that on Rustam. OOC: *smiles* So Rustam needs a gir--if I were to finish that sentence as I think you would have it would have been girl or girl friend. If you wanted to I'd be fine with it and if not that's fine too. If we did have Rustam and Lily hook up though we still wouldn't take it that far.

That and to their parents," Rustam says with a slight smile as he picks up a small shell in the sand next to him and begins polishing it with a finger. "My sister and I would always make a big show of not being afraid," he says in a reminiscent tone. "We'd be under the bed once the first clap of thunder came, then we'd kinda look at each other and Adwen would say, 'Scaredy-cat, there's nothing to be afraid of. It's only thunder; what are you doing down here?' Then she'd start crawling out from under the bed. I, of course, couldn't let my big sister show me up, so I'd follow...then the next clap of thunder would come and we'd both instantly be back underneath the bed. - Lily listened to Rustam intently and then said "I don't know how as kids we hate the thunder and the rain and then when we're older I know a lot of people who love storms like this." Lily glanced around at the coast. It was raining as hard as ever perhaps harder and was starting to get a little bit cold. "Um, we should probably get out of the rain. I have some old clothes of my brother's around somewhere, (executive decision she has/had a brother) they'd probably fit you. Then we could have some hot cocoa or something."
