Haaden was about to protest and ask if Halden thought he could do it with his hands in their present condition but he was already gone. She shrugged. He knew his own capabilities. She walked away from the waterline and over a pile of debris that had been washed ashore. She walked until she was up against the cliff side. She thought they would be safe here. It didn't look like the tide would come this high tonight. She sat down in the sand and took off her pack. It was then that she noticed that she was still wearing the ring that had been in the treasure chest along with the orb. It occured to her that perhaps that was why it had affected her differently then it had Halden. She played with it absentmindedly and waited for Halden to come back with the wood. -- Ocean

Halden jogged along the beach with the wood sticking out of his pack. getting to the place where he and haaden seperated he looked around to see if he could see her. not seeing anyone he figured she was probably looking alon the cliff for shelter. turning away from the ocean he started toward inland. he easily hurtled a bit of debris on the beach on his way up (?). seeing haaden sitting behind a drop of on the beach, he headed toward her. -- halden, 07:58:15 10/01/04 Fri
