Subject: Lone Gunmen - What do you think so far?

I was just curious what everyone has been thinking about the Lone Gunmen spinoff so far?

As for me, it's a bit of mixed feelings. First of all, I've always enjoyed the LGM in the X-Files episodes. They've lended the perfect dose of "geeky" humor so-to-speak. I was definitely excited to see how they would fare on their own.

The Pilot was pretty good. Considering it's their first episode, any flaws are forgiven. Bond, Jimmy Bond was and is the one I like least. That whole part about puking in the golf bag and washing off the names seemed like something more "juvenile" than computer-nerd-type of behavior. Did anyone else feel this--maybe a little more grossed out than amused?

Now Eine Kleine Frohike was very good--the interaction between Frohike and his "mother" had me laughing--love that shower scene :) Like Water for Octane wasn't terrible either--except maybe for the Langly-cow meeting. And Three Men and a Smoking Diaper was pretty good.

So overall, it's not bad, although I'd like to see more "geeky" type of things from our Gunmen instead of something an adolescent would do. I admit, I've also had an easier time watching it on Sunday than on Friday's--I haven't turned my tv on on Fridays (unless it's a movie I've rented) for years.

Talk about an awful time slot--anyone else having problems with it?

Anyway, just tossing in my two cents :)
