I really want to give Lone Gunmen a chance, but so far I've been a little disappointed. I think they've made Langly far too angry a character. His tirades are a little over the top. I definetly don't like the dumb doof they hired on to work with them. (name?~the guy who was coaching the blind football team~)The stupid guy is over the top stupid, the girl is over the top sexy, and langly is over the top angry. I'd like to see them tone it down a little and do some intellegent but humorous stuff. The trio definetly has comic sensabilities, but I think it would have been better if the show were written as more of a drama with comic relief mixed in as opposed to a comedy with drama mixed in. Something just isn't clicking. I hate to judge so hastily though, so I'm going to keep watching, probably via tape. As far as juvenile humor goes, how about Frohike farting away in the doctor's office? Ah well.
Peace,
Cheryl
