No, its not like Chris Carter fired DD... he just screwed him out of alot of money to line his already oversized pockets. I don't like that he left the show but I can't blame DD for leaving.
Season 9 is just Chris "moneybags" Carter's attempt to make himself a little more money before the show plummets. He actually thinks that it is to HIS credit that the show did so well. In actuality, it is the writers who know how to give us the MS tension that we need.
