Character Description
Name: Kalya (I take it we can rejoin? ^^)
Gender: Female
Age: 17ish?
Description: Plain brown hair, cropped short to her ears about now; a bit lighter than plain brown, come to think of it, blond-brown more than anything, copper-toned near the tips (natural, not using any sort of dye, by the by). Tanned face, a bit too tan by now, too, so that its tone nearly matches that of her hair, with a pert nose and brown-green eyes. Her chin's round, her neck's a bit too long, and her shoulders are a bit wide...but that's Kalya. She's average height, not thin, but not fat, more in the vague slender region. Other than that, she's pretty ordinary, but her feet are markedly shorter than others'.
Personality: Kalya's a mix of a lot of things. Determined, she used to be very serious, but with the appearance of a certain person in her life, she's loosened up a bit. She likes to take charge, but is worried enough about being bossy that she doesn't leap at it every chance she gets. At times she'll talk to her Kilven more than people, and one thing she can't stand is humiliation. Embarrassment, etc...that's the sort of thing that pushes her over the edge.
History: Well, she started out on Pern...her official history is that she was the daughter of a minor holder who wanted her to deal with runners and not dragons (I know, I know, cliche, but I was new then...). Her goal in life was to make a difference, and when one of her closer friends around the hold passed on, she decided that now was the time. Searched by a green dragon on her way to a relative's home in a neighboring Hold, she was swept off to Kylith's and Jeneth's (I think?) clutch, where she Impressed gold Layath. After a while, she got to be friends with A'rak (Impressed the same clutch) who's sorta-kinda her love interest now. ^^ Then, when DRoP closed, and Etreus opened, she moved over here, becoming Kalya and gold Layae.
Species: Coinshifter. Nothing yet, but she hopes to do some 'shifting in the future.
