Author: Girl
Subject: Poor, war-ridden Etreus. *tear*Its records will be lost! Why did it have to die? Mcallenan! *random* it's all your fault! *sobs uncontrollably*

Name: Never christened formally
Nickname: Mouse, Girl
Age: Most believe somewhere in her teens
Description: She is small and has a problem with malnutrition, giving the strong impression of a mouse, thus the nickname. Her mismatched eyes are much too large for her tiny face, an intimidated look always haunting them. One is deep purple, like a pool of fay water with its never-ending depth. The other is shallow yellow, so bright as to make it painful to look at. It is a signature of her power to those wise enough to recognize it. Otherwise she is boringly pitiful. Her hair lies in straggles about her dirty face and can be called nothing but plain brown. All she wears is a sack dress reaching her knees, very patched and worn, faded to a gray-brown color from years of wear and tear. The sleeves are short and cover only the tops of her shoulders, crudely cut and in need of mending. She has a flat chest and little in the way of good looks so she never has a problem with males. Her entire visage announces to the world just how lower class and undeserving she is. If only she had not the eyes.
Personality: Mouse is probably the most uneducated being on all the planets combined. She is jsut barely sentient and can speak only small words. Normally she is quiet and unnoticed, the type of person who will walk up to a complete stranger and hand them a bouquet of flowers, and then walk away again, forgotten in a matter of minutes. She never shows anyone her gaze and walks with her head down; walking proof that complete self-nonexistence is possible. Mouse has one type of mood swing that sets her on everybody's lookout list. Randomly she will burst into an alien language, running through the streets shouting and sobbing. Then she will curl up somewhere and rock herself to sleep, forgetting the entire thing by morning. This happens very infrequently, thank God, and ot is therefore rarely thought that she is insane, only childlike. As a child, she is just innocent enough to be taken advantage of and not know it. Those who do see her power for what it is can take her in and use her mercilessly as a power source until she is drained. It has happened before, but Mouse remains unscarred and stupidly trusting.
History: Born into a high-class family of Hunons, Mouse was cast out at her earliest age for her human appearance. The Hunon family was a well-developed class, hardly human at all in their mutated state. Mouse was just an accident to them, a flaw in genetic engineering. After keeping her a while to see if she would properly develop past the "weakling stage", they sent her off in a life pod after an unsuccessful operation. No loss for them, they had many heirs evolving naturally. For the first time in her life, Mouse was forgotten. It certainly wouldn't be the last. The pod had no chartering system; it just floated around in space, supporting the creature in it through the years. The girl slept. Sometimes the pod would be pushed foreword by an exploding star, rocketing through space. The girl slept. It got caught in orbit for five years around the planet Anathrea. The girl slept. The explosion of Anathrea sent the life pod tumbling through space at incredible speeds. It swept past stars and galaxies, pushing through gravitational pulls and past black holes, speeding past battles of old and through history being made. The girl slept. Losing its momentum now, the pod slowed, accepting the pull of a new planet. It burned through the atmosphere and then fell towards terra firma, crashing among a field of golden grasses. The girl finally awoke. She was directed to find clothes in the "frontal compartment" by the pod, its first and last instruction. The only parent that Mouse had ever known short-circuited and died. Lost and unaware from her years in solitude, the girl from the pod began her trek across this new land: Etreus.
Species: Hunon

Species Description
Height at Shoulder: 4-6 feet
Coloration: Tan, light brown, or off-yellow
Species Description: Derived from humans, Hunons are much the same in the abdomen area. Everything else has changed. They were humans who were fed up with their un-evolved state, being at the bottom of the food chain in future-Earth. Armed with new technologies they set out for a new planet and a new beginning. Highly developed genetic engineering made it possible for them to insert the genes of earth animals into themselves and have it passed on to the next generations. Slowly they evolved, and then faster, until they all had the reflexes of a jungle cat, the owl's ability to fly, and the natural weapons of various creatures. It was a work in progress, but it was progressing finely. No longer did young humans need to learn balance, they were born with six legs. Opposable thumbs and eight fingers on each hand gave them something to pick up with. They all grew wings and fangs and claws. Every Hunon was a bit different from the others, but the basics were the same. There were only slight glitches in the system, like Mouse and a few others who had to be disposed because their bodies did not accept the new codes. But if the Hunons had known what these humanoid children were capable of, then they would have been protected and treasured. As a result of the gene splicing, a new chemical had emerged in a choice few who's bodied did not agree with the alien genes. This chemical gave them supernatural powers of ultra-keen senses, the ability to read minds, the powers to control the elements to a degree, and the most important ability of being able to twist the time-space continuum to their will. Most of the Hunons who were cast out with these powers would be overloaded with the abilities and die in their pods. But Mouse was kept away from all other life, giving her body a chance to develop to its mind. Not one of the "perfect" Hunons has these abilities. Now I will not go further into this species, because it really has nothing to do with Mouse beyond the chemical.
Species Temperament: Incredibly arrogant and haughty, Hunons believe to have achieved perfection. They have human intelligence and therefore possess qualities such as jealousy and vanity, admirable to them. All are incredibly vain. They believe looks to be the most important thing of all as a result of looks being so important to their births. It is a corrupt place that believes itself to be perfect, thus Utopia-Earth.
