Subject: Welcome to the group!

Dear Group,

Welcome to this forum for discussing a creative solution for Canadas Headship of State debate. Here we can share our views on how to modify our national institutions in order to best serve everyone. Constitutional monarchy has served us well for many generations and I am sure it can for many more to come. However, let's be honest people, the status quo is an arrangement that few people are happy with anymore. Establishing a distinctly Canadian Imperial Family is a third way between the republic proposals discussed at length on www.monarchyfreecanada.org and the valiant dedication to the status quo of the monarchists discussed on www.monarchist.ca.
Here, we seek to create a workable solution that will serve as many elements of Canadian society as possible. This unique solution discussed on our homepage presents a unique compromise between opening the way to rule by the rabble that republics often cause and the potentially catastrophic national break up that the status quo could very likely cause.
All are invited to share their views here, without any exceptions. Let the debates begin!!
