Dear Sir,

While I agree with you that the Empire will not be tolerant of homosexuals at all, I must disagree with your proposal of a witch hunt on homosexuals. One thing that must be remembered is that when you do something like that to any group of people, even if they are troublesome, you tend to also generate sympathy for them. Much the same way that the communists in the USA found a lot of sympathy from many people across America and the world when Senator McCarthy started on his witch hunt after them. As a result, there are probably more dedicated communists in the USA today than there are die hards in the former USSR.
The better way to deal with such dis-agreeable elements in Canadian society is to ostracise them. A variation of the American state of Colorado's, Amendment Two (a law that repealed all legal protection for the rights of homosexuals) is the best way to handle the issue of what to do with Canada's gay population.
