No argument here. Remember, I am just as much a monarchist as you or your friend John Aimers, I just have a slightly different viewpoint on the issue. My website even includes a link to monarchy.net's page titled "The Case for Monarchy". Yes, Canada should continue to have its parliamentary system of government, the crown, etc. Let's just have the crown be truly Canadian. That would necessarily entail it being worn by a person who lives in Canada. I feel the Imperial Crown of Canada would do far more to bring the various different peoples of Canada together than the British Crown has ever done, currently does, or ever will be able to do. I hope you don't think that Imperial Canada is a republican movement in disguise.
