Subject: Going overboard

Really, let's not go overboard... Changing names, symbols and anything else you can get a hold of... A name is very precious and reflects ones identity. A symbol that has been held for generations is dear as well and deeply expressive. You can't really expect people to go along with a major overhaul of our identity, suggested by one who does not even live here. As a young Canadian, I am proud of our heritage and that does not mean that we are still colonial.
