This is a quote from Maxi 3chip .txt:
"The diodes attenuate the Video signal and let the HBI and VBI pass un-attenuated.
The result when negative amplitude modulation is used is to raise and attenuate the
video. This effectively lowers and amplifies the sync and burst back to the normal level."

One would understand that, durring VBI and HBI, the pulse comming from 3chip (pin 1, code modiffied according to the .src file you provided) is low and high for the rest.
What's the difference between this pulse and NORM pulse?
Second question:
What code is actualy there?
And third:
How come that the AGC of the FI is able to respond so fast to modiffication of the input signal (I'm thinking at SSAVI, which has the HBI just shifted, not altered)?
