My cable system is using PAL-BG suppressed Sync with no Invert or color burst. Presently I fix the AGC problem with a 5K VR and the center PIN to AGC PIN while the other 2pin to +5V and GND.

I am using Canton Rev 3 with Software Rev2.4 on Jen's website.

With or without AGC S&H I will get white banding strip on the top screen most channel. Tough White Banding can be fixed it with a VR, I can see some part of the screen have different in brightness and uneveness color and brightness. It can be very obvious. So I am hope to get a solution to fixed this problem

I am not sure if the operator with come with random invert in future but I am interested to know on how to get information on the dataline. How to find dataline. Wonder if this VBI scope will be helpful. http://www.nomadelectronics.com/VidCap/DShow%20Filters/VBIScope/vbi_scope.htm
