Subject: Canton 4.2 & f84palb.asm

Anyone had much luck with this combination?

I've got the Canton 4.2 board made, with a 20Mhz VCXO as recommended and having problems with it locking.

I've inserted the BSF LED portion to earlier in the lock code and it seems to be close to locking.

There's 5 LOCK subroutines all folling on from the LOCKON subroutine. LOCK1 -> LOCK2 results in a steady LED. Lock 3 & 4 result in a flashing LED indicating it occasionally gets this far. LOCK5 the final one never executes.

I've checked all the signals, NED and PED both seem not as wide as the scope captures that I've seen. Mine are certainly very slim which I take it is a result of the size of the signal going to the LM393. The signals out of the video amp section for both normal and inverted video are fine, just when they get to the input of the LM393 after passing through the resistor and capactitor they're very small. Does the 1k -> 4.7k change fix this at all?
