Subject: Central Ohio Stingrays NSA WSQ at Ohio State Univ

STINGRAYS 2002 NSA WORLD SERIES QUALIFIER
JUNE 14TH-16TH
THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY BEEKMAN FIELDS

After many suggestions from coaches across the state the STINGRAYS NSA WSQ will have a few changes to its format. Because of these changes the host site has been changed to the OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY Fred Beekman fields on West Campus. This 12-field complex is in close proximity to the OSU Varsity Softball complex. All 12 of these fields are lit and beautifully maintained. The complex has 2 sets of concession stands and restroom facilities. The conditioning of the fields will be second to none for a complex this size.

The format changes are as follows:

· 1 ½ hour time limit for all games. Finals will be 7 innings.
· Four (4) game guarantee. Pool play into single elimination round.
· No parking charges or gate fees

Last years event had 57 teams and closed most age brackets before the end of February. While the size of the complex will accommodate more teams, we expect the field to fill up quickly again this year. Reserve your spot now!
