Subject: college bound softball players

it's really sad that college's have money but not the time to recruit properly. the only sport that is financed to recruit properly for college is football. the rest are amateurs who rely upon daddys fom summer leagues and word of mouth which usually comes from daddys as well, through one hand washing the other with their friends whose tournaments they have supported. how many times have you seen inferior players recruited in softball when superior athletes who are multi-sport players in high school do not get as much notice simply because they play two or three sports and not softball 12 months a year. the college coaches who spend their time recruiting summer league/daddy ball should wake up and wonder why those summer girls are not making the grade in high school ball as often as others when they do not have the daddy influence, instead of wondering why they cannot make the grade when they get to your fine institutions!
