I can understand your frustration and my daughter is only a sophomore in high school! From the info I have received and from what I have personally seen, you have to "sell" a college on your child which takes alot of time and energy. When they are a tri-sport athlete and you're constantly on the go with them, it leaves very little time to accomplish this great task. What recruits have to understand is that tri-sport athletes need to concentrate on the current sport they are playing. So, if you are a softball college recruit and you watch a tri-athlete during volleyball or basketball season, your not seeing their best performance (and hopefully recruits know this). As far as the "daddys" thing goes, unfortunately politics always plays a part in everything and softball is no exception.
