Subject: A hardy WELCOME to the forum and more...

Hello everyone and welcome to the discussion and chat forum. Everyone is encouraged to use the forum to the max, whether it be about Government issues, shoot the bull or pass on valuable info to a friend. I have learned since I have been working with this website that we get folks from all branches of the military and many who have never been in the military but just want to show their respect for America's finest fighting force. I would particularly like to hear new info and opinions about the legislation, H.R. 303 and S. 170 which would remove the offset between disability compensation and military longevity retired pay. My opinion is that it is unfair to hold back a mans retirement pay just because he had been disabled while on duty. Somebody enlighten me!!! What does one have to do with the other? Hopefully congress will quit stalling arould and pass this bill soon!! But it won't be without our help. Did you know on the homepage at the right side botton that their is a "Write To Congress Box that is furnished to us by the DAV (Disabled American Veterans). Please use this box to get in touch with your elected officials in Washington. I thank you for your help and will be waiting for a reply to the message!!! Oliver
