I'm retired with 23 years active duty and also get a 20%disability but they take the amount that I get from the VA and take it out of my retired pay. I earned that retired pay and I am disabled. I should get them Both. would also like to hear from anyone who served in Lima Company 3/1. I was in country as a Corpsman from March 69 to Mar 70. Go to the reunion every year. Keep in touch.
