Hello. I recently sent you an e-mail about your little
cocketiel. I forgot to tell you that there is an easy
way to find out if she is girl or boy. This may sound
crazy but it is the way the Vets. check them. You take
your hand or finger and run it down in front from his
neck to his legs on his chest. At the end of the breast
bone there will be a little bone sticking out and if she
is female she will not have it. I thought someone was
playing a joke on me but they were not. This is the real
way to find out without surgery.My bird had a little bone.
I have a little cocketiel named Dusty who is 6 months old
now. He clucks and crows like chickens and roosters. My
husband taught him to do it.
