Em 1997 o mundo se voltou para as Seychelles. Mulheres maravilhosas. Simplesmente divinas! Uma após a outra: Cabo Verde e Nepal pela primeira vez. 86 países se revezando. Para quem pensa que a beleza se limita aos palcos de Mr Trump, dê uma olhada nesse concurso, talvez o melhor Miss World da história!!!!

Lauralee Martinovich ganhou melhor vestido e lembrava nossa Rejane Vieira da Costa. Quase levou o primeiro M.W para a Nova zelândia. Diana Hayden levou o segundo M.W para india num total de quatro em 7 anos!!!
